Well, today started like any other day. I mean, who could've predicted that a simple trip to grab the mail would turn into my personal disaster zone? I was just finishing up my morning coffee when I noticed I locked myself in with the keys still inside. Inside! You could not imagine the frustration that washed me like a tidal tsunami.
I tried every maneuver I could, from jiggling the lock to wrenching it open. Nothing worked!
The sun was getting more intense, and my phone juice was slowly dying. To top it all off, I was starting to feel ridiculous as neighbors began to peep.
Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, a kind neighbor suggested calling a locksmith. Let me tell you, that phone call was the most costly one I've ever made. The locksmith showed up and easily got my door open.
Lesson learned? Maybe. But mostly, I just want to forget this day ever happened.
